Today on the Deminski & Doyle Show, the guys read off a list put together by CNN. The list was a compilation of some of the best TV sidekicks of all time in light of Mary Richards' (Rhoda Morgenstern from "The Mary Tyler Moore Show") announcement that she has terminal brain cancer.

Here's the list:

• Barney Fife from "The Andy Griffith Show", played by Don Knotts.

• Robin from the "Batman" series, played by Burt Ward.

• George Costanza from "Seinfeld", played by Jason Alexander.

• Maynard G. Krebs from "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis", played by Bob Denver.
