The I Love The 90's Tour is coming to Jersey. Vanilla Ice and Salt N' Peppa along with Coolio, Kid 'n Play and more are performing at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden on August 6th. It got me thinking about all things pop culture when it comes to certain decades. Music, TV shows, movies, etc., can always be both well represented and poorly represented in the same decade.

For example, the 90's had Vanilla Ice, Britney Spears, Paula Abdul, all stuff I thought was awful. Yet it also had Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, and a lot of really cool alternative music in the mid 90's. So it's completely subjective, but I'm wondering which decade would get the most votes for best pop culture.

When it comes to TV shows, you had the 1980's NBC juggernaut of Cheers, Family Ties and The Cosby Show. But the 90's had Friends, Seinfeld and Mad About You. Then again some say nothing will ever recapture the Saturday night lineup on CBS in the 70's with All In The Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show and The Carol Burnett Show.

The 80's had great coming of age movies like Fast Times At Ridgemont High, The Breakfast Club, 16 Candles. The 70's had Taxi Driver, Jaws, Star Wars, The Deer Hunter, The Godfather, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Then again the 90's had Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, and Titanic.

Think back to the 70's, 80's, and 90's and cast your vote on which decade had the best to offer in pop culture (TV shows, movies, music). I'm leaving out the 2000s on purpose because this could include things only 7 years old and I think the test of time is needed to see how certain acts and projects hold up.
