Dog friendly beaches are pure heaven for our four-legged friends. Now with summer finally here, we came up with a list of beaches in South Jersey where you and Fido can lap up the fun all summer long!
You can take you dog to the the north end of the beach for a long walk all year long. You have a full run of the beach from October 1st through May 29th. You'll need to keep your dog on a 6 ft leash.
Dogs are permitted on the beach between 80th and 82nd before 9 AM. and after 7 PM. Dogs must be on a 6 ft leash. There's nothing like watching the sunset and watching your dog have the time of their life!
The pace to bring your dog in OC is Malibu Beach Wildlife Management Area, located at the far end of Ocean City. The unofficial doggy beach of New Jersey, is open year round for you and your pooch!
A new addition to dog-friendly beaches of the Jersey Shore. You can take your furry friend to the beach block wide area located off of Poplar Ave. Dogs must be leashed. Your pooch may go crazy over the 25-foot fire hydrant located right on the beach.
Longport Dog Beach is open year and is a leash free beach. You need to be a responsible dog owner and be sure to bring plenty of water and waste disposal items. Located at the base of the Ocean Drive Bridge.
