The list compiled by RoadSnacks was based on good education, jobs, income, crime, weather, population density, and things to do. Here’s where the top (bottom?) 10 rank according to their list.

  1. Newark
  2. West New York
  3. City of Orange Township
  4. Irvington Township
  5. Union City
  6. Lindenwold
  7. Guttenberg
  8. Madison Park
  9. Berkeley Township
  10. Bridgeton

As it turns out, I was born in Newark, raised in Union City and went to high school in West New York at St Joe's High School. Living there for me was one of the greatest experiences of my life and a lot of who I am as a person came from those growing up in that area. Never once while growing up was I thinking, "this is a horrible place to live."

Where do you think are the worst places to live in New Jersey?
