Let's face it: no one looks forward to a Monday. As the old song says, "Can't trust that day!" And the other old song says "Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down". And then there's "Manic Monday" and ....ok, ok, I know. You get my point: Mondays suck.

That's why many years ago, the Dennis and Judi feature "Where Are You Now?" (and What Are You Doing?) was instituted to brighten up an otherwise slow-starting morning where people took too long to get involved with the show. We figured we'd make it easy.

And the premise was simple: you call & tell us what you're doing during the 10-11AM hour of the show on Monday, and we try to make it seem more interesting, compelling or important than it actually is.

The title "Where Are You Now?" was decided after millions of dollars in market research involving corporate Branding experts from both New York AND Dubai! (Well, full disclosure: We really wanted to do that but actually our boss just said "Shut up and call it anything. You're on the air in like 2 minutes and you haven't even gotten me my espresso yet.") Hence the snappy, yet cumbersome title.

Sometimes we hear amazing stories of what our fellow Jerseyans are out and about doing! (Usually not.) For the most part, these mundane tasks, errands and jobs are things that make us glad we're doing something much more fun, like, being on the radio!

The fact remains, however, that even the simple act of taking your dog to the groomer, or getting your license renewed is just more important when New Jerseyans do it! Why? Because New Jersey is the axis around which the rest of the world turns!

You may not see it that way, but it's true! We are looked up to by the other 49 states as an example of how to live life to the FULLEST! How to take life BY THE REINS, how to be a true MOVER AND SHAKER!

Yes, here in NJ even a seemingly inconsequential act like getting a tooth filled is in effect making a contribution to the greater good! (Not really, but next time you're getting the aforementioned tooth filled it'll give you something to focus on instead of the sound of the drill.)

Herewith, in no particular order of import (or interest), is this past Monday's "Where Are You Now?"
