If you've never been to New York City at Christmastime then you've never really experienced "The Holidays".

It can be a bit of a pain to get into the city and you should map out where you want to go ahead of time, but just go. The tree lighting at Rockefeller Center isn't until this Wednesday night, but this past Saturday we visited the tree at Bryant Park.

Along with the tree, there are shops and a skating rink which is just as good to me. Aside from the $18 for an Irish coffee it's well worth whatever it takes to get there anytime of year, but especially at Christmastime. They keep making improvements to Time Square each year too.

It's one of the few holiday traditions that I look forward to every year!
