Last week I wrote an article regarding how Trenton is one of the lowest-rated state capitals and how I was surprised it didn't rank last on a list of all 50 state capitals. Seriously, the stats are deeply unsettling. Trenton ranks 45th out of all 50 capitals.

I started to think about what would happen if we could move the capital somewhere else. Imagine the state house overlooking the beach? Or if it was in a place where you could actually stop at a red light instead of risk being another carjacking victim? I considered a lot of locations around New Jersey. I ended up picking the town I currently reside in, Freehold. Based on its importance to Monmouth County and the fact that it's about as geographically central as you can get, it makes the most sense.

What do you think? If you could move the state capital from Trenton to the city or township of your choosing, where would it be? Let us know on Facebook, Twitter, or in the comment section below.
