What Rockers Who Died Young Would Have Looked Like Today

“If there’s a rock and roll heaven,
well you know they’ve got a hell of a band.”

- The Righteous Brothers

Sachs Media Group partnered with Phojoe, a photo restoration and manipulation company, to show what famous rockers who died far too young may have looked like had they been given the chance to grow old. Members of the famous 27 club (rockers who all died at age 27) are here including Jimi Hendrix.

The one that struck me the most is John Lennon. No one can know for sure but the eyes, the facial structure, all struck me as an accurate portrayal of John had he grown old. It would have been interesting to see Marilyn Monroe aged in a photo but they were sticking to rock legends. Kurt Cobain, another member of the 27 club, for some reason strikes me as the least realistic. Amy Winehouse, yet another 27 clubber, couldn’t be on the list because she died in 2011 and would still be young had she lived, but I wonder what she would have looked like by say age 57.

So what’s the math on when Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus turn 27?
