Dena Blizzard was discussing NJ summers and how certain events in the state really make you feel part of the summer season. Almost everyone who lives in NJ has some type of event that goes on during the summer in the Garden State that makes them officially feel like summer has arrived. What's it for you? A local festival? An outdoor concert? A Trip to your favorite beach?

For Dena, she referenced two events that always put her in the summer mood.. The first is the 4H Fair in Mullica Hill. The second is her yearly trip to Wildwood with the family because the first thing they do when they arrive in Wildwood, is get pizza from Mack's.(formerly Mack & Manco's)

Dena got the ball rolling and then handed it off to the listeners to name their favorite places or events for summer in NJ. Here is the list they came up with below:

Leo in Mt. Holly - The first drive down to the shore of the summer.

Diego in Haddonfield - First trip to Seaside Heights Boardwalk

Chris in South Amboy - 1st crabbing trip of the season

Lisa in Chadwick Islands - Shopping in Pt. Pleasant

Amy in Hamilton - Mini golf in Seaside Heights
