After last week's snowy reminder that it's still winter, New Jersey is welcoming this week's warm forecast with open arms.

A few days in the ballpark of 70-degrees or higher?! Let's draw up our priorities for the week, Jersey.

Hit the beach

Even a busy, "late winter" day at the Shore is still glorious in personal space. It's amazing what some sun, sand, the ocean view and maybe some ice cream will do for your spirits.

Break out the bikes, or hiking boots!

There's officially no excuses left, not to get out and enjoy some fresh air in one of Jersey's great state parks. Some favorites are the D & R CanalCheesequakeHigh Point, Island Beach and Round Valley. It's also a perk that entrance fees aren't in effect until Memorial Day weekend.

Acres Away farm in Flemington is kicking up its horseback riding trail rides for the season. All month, children and adults can make reservations for an Easter egg hunt on horseback. For adults- the eggs include mini bottles of alcohol.

Rides are offered every day of the week, as long as you book in advance.

Hang with the critters

Turtle Back Zoo is operating as 'off-season' until April, so you can save a couple bucks on admission. It's always fun to see the animals get a bit more active as they enjoy the warmer weather, too.

You could also knock out two priorities at once, at Jenkinson's Aquarium before taking a stroll on the Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk.

'Bloom with the best' at Duke Farms

Duke Farms in Somerset County offers a unique place to drink in the almost-Spring weather. There's trails for hiking and biking, plus an impressive Orchid Range for garden lovers. It showcases some of the 1,500 orchids grown there.
