Police in Wayne have received numerous complaints from customers of Red Carpet Prom dress shop. The customers say the store failed to fill orders, or delivered dresses that were damaged or the wrong
size.

Owner Patricia Dowling tells The Record newspaper she's trying to do all she can after she fell ill. She also reported a burglary, telling police $600 was stolen, along with 40 prom dresses.

However, the newspaper found complaints against Dowling and the business go back several years and include more than a dozen liens and judgments from another Red Carpet store she owned in Gloucester
County.
