When former Philadelphia Eagles guard/tackle Todd Herremans visited the studio with Dr. David Nathan of Doctors for Cannabis Regulation and New Jersey United for Marijuana Reform to talk about legalizing marijuana in the Garden state, the breaks quickly turned sports - paper football, to be exact.

The rules of the game are simple: Each player gets four downs to advance the paper football, which is really a piece of paper expertly folded into a triangle - thanks to David, in this case. The paper gets advanced to the edge of the table. If any part of the "ball" hangs over the edge, it's a touchdown which is followed by the extra point. That's where the losing player forms a goal post and the scorer tries to kick the ball through. If the ball goes over the edge and onto the floor three times, then the player can attempt a field goal.

After making a long field goal from my studio chair across the room on Herremans, it was time to take him on in a real game.
