There’s no more catchy song on the radio than Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’s “Uptown Funk!”

So catchy, in fact, that it got one teacher in Texas to come up with the dance routine seen on Mars’s video

The teacher, Scot Pankey, from A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School in Dallas came up with the routine after seeing Mars’s do his thing, and shot the video all in one take.

Turns out the video was a class project.

"I heard the song before Christmas and fell in love with it," Pankey tells the Dallas Morning News. "We are a project-based school … You give the students a project, put them in teams, and they have to come up with solutions. They had three weeks to work on it, then present as a group what they learned."

Hard to believe they did it all in one take.

And that he claims not to be a dancer.

Could have fooled me!

Wonder if that counts toward their grade on the PARCC test?
