A South Jersey group that holds social events for special needs "tweens and teens" has posted a video inviting singer Bruno Mars to their prom in June.

Wearing the same style hat Mars wears during performances, members of Fantastic Friends performed special lyrics to Mars' hit "Uptown Funk" in hopes he will come to their prom planned for June 17.

"YOU give us so much faith and love in miracles! We want you to come join us and and help make memories of a lifetime for some really special people," Marissa Hacker, the group's CEO and founder, wrote on its YouTube post of the video. "Your songs are so meaningful to us and we want you to be the uptown funky star of our prom on Friday, June 17 in Voorhees, NJ. Let’s spread love and celebrate friends because in Fantastic Friends THE FUN NEVER ENDS!!!"

Mars has not yet responded to the invitation.

On the Facebook, Hacker, a 19-year-old Stockton University sophomore, wrote on Sunday, "There is no doubt in our minds that we will get a response from Bruno Mars very soon. Anything is possible."
