There was a song we used to play every now and then by country artist Johnny Paycheck (ironically) entitled “Take This Job and Shove it!”

Probably something you may have wanted to tell your employer at one time or another but just didn’t have the cojones.

Not so for one TV reporter, whose stance on legalizing marijuana “clouded” her objectivity on reporting the news as much as being an advocate for the cause.

Fine and dandy until she decided to announce her intentions on the air by uttering an on-air resignation complete with “f-bomb” – much to the amazement of the news anchor who was left fumbling for words.

The reporter, KTVA Anchorage's Charlo Greene, said the following:

"Everything you've heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska," Greene told viewers after the segment.

"And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, f**k it, I quit."

She then decided that reporting the news was not her dream job, and instead decided to run full-time the Alaska Cannabis Club, of which she is the owner.

Funny how the news assignment editor at the station didn’t know this before giving her the story to report, but that’s another matter.

Fact is, she walked out in a way most of us may have at one time – or may still like to.

Would you ever - or did you ever - walk out on a job by telling your boss to go “f*** off!” Or do so in a huff!
