The Marin County Sheriff's Department will update their investigaion into the death of comedian Robin Williams at a press conference this afternoon. Watch the event live at 2 p.m. here.

A makeshift memorial for Robin Williams is set up in front of a home in Boulder, Colorado used in the opening credits for "Mork & Mindy."

The county coroner will perform an autopsy today on the 63-year-old who was found dead in his Marin County home on Tuesday according to the Los Angeles Times.

An initial investigation by the Investigations and Coroner Divisions of the Sheriff’s Office has determined Williams death to be a suicide due to asphyxia.

CBS News reports that Williams was discovered to have hung himself according to audio from the Sheriff's Office.

KGO TV reports fans were leaving flowers not only outside his Marin County home but also outside the San Francisco home used in Williams' 1993 movie "Mrs. Doubtfire."
