Mike Tyson appeared on live Canadian television for an interview and things got ugly when the reporter unexpectedly brought up his 22 year old rape conviction. CP24 news anchor Nathan Downer tries to regain control but never does and has to cut the interview early. We warn you that this video contains very graphic language.

Things got out of hand when Downer asked Tyson about his meeting with Toronto’s scandal-plagued Mayor Rob Ford. Ford is seeking re-election after recently going back to work after a stint in rehab.

Downer: “Some of your critics would say, ‘There’s a race for mayor. We know you’re a convicted rapist. This could hurt his campaign.’ How would respond to that?”

Tyson calls Downer negative before saying, “It’s so interesting, you come off like a nice guy,” then hurling profanities at the anchor.

Downer then puts up his hands and says, “Hey, come on. We’re doing live TV now.”

Tyson comes back with: “I don’t care. What are you going to do about it?”

Good point, Mike, good point.

Downer then tries asking Tyson about his one-man show, “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth.” Tyson appeared on CP24 with the Canadian promoter of the show at his side.

A disgusted Tyson says the show “speaks for itself” before the promoter tries saving the train wreck by talking about it himself.

Downer then asks Tyson which is more nerve-wracking, boxing or appearing on stage.

Tyson responds that it’s more nerve-wracking appearing on the news show before hurling more profanities at Downer.

“Come on, Mike,” Downer responds.

Tyson insults him again before Downer wraps up the interview and thanks Tyson for coming, as Tyson swears at him.
