WATCH: Congressman sings ‘Meet the Mets,’ sounds like he’s being tortured

Look, a bet's a bet.

Friday, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) paid up. He'd bet on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Division Series, up against Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y). And as we all know by know, the New York Mets were victorious.

So Friday, Schiff took to the House floor, and as promised, gave his rendition of "Meet the Mets." It's pained. It's stilted. It's fantastic.

"Please, Mr. Speaker, let my time be expired," he begged.
