Dave Robinson, the State Climatologist at Rutgers University, says this just-passed winter will go down as one of the warmest on record.  But not the warmest. That honor belongs to the winter of 2001-2002, according to Robinson.

And what about the almost non-existent snowfall in New Jersey this past winter? According to Robinson, the so-called, "Snowtober event on October 29th, was the closest thing the state saw to a real storm."

He adds when all is said and done, this will probably be recorded as the sixth or seventh most snowless Jersey winter on the books.
