I have no dog in this fight as the saying goes. I knew no one graduating from Rutgers. I was not in attendance. I did watch the entire speech by President Obama and it was obvious very early on that it was going to be a campaign speech against Donald Trump.

From the good old days weren't so good, clearly going after Trump's slogan Make America Great Again, to the talk of how we don't want to "build walls," to the "ignorance is not a virtue," the speech was a thinly veiled assault on the prospect of a future with Donald Trump at the helm. Perhaps not veiled at all.

Yet Obama is such a good orator, and whoever wrote the speech was so skilled, that it effortlessly brought humor and some real advice for the graduating class of 2016.

So I wonder what you thought of it? Should it have been more real advice and less about Trump and the presidential election year? Was it perfectly well balanced? Let us know. Take the poll below.
