The Warren Hills football team will not return to the field on Saturday following the death of quarterback Evan Murray.

"All Warren Hills Regional activities and athletic events, grades 7–12, are postponed for Saturday, October 3, 2015," reads an announcement on the Warren Hills district website. That includes the Blue Streak game against Voorhees.

Voorhees Athletic Director told LehighValleyLive.com the postponement was because of "because of this week's series of events."

Teams across from the Greater Middlesex Conference and the Mid State 38 honored Murray with a moment of silence during their games Friday night. They also affixed #18 decals — Murray's number — to their helmets in tribute.
