According to one parent, residents received an automated call announcing the school closure. A large number of students and faculty members are expected to attend Thursday's funeral services.

A notice on the high school's website states that "Warren Hills Regional Middle and High Schools will be CLOSED to accommodate local road closings and all appropriate and unforeseen needs on Thursday, October 1, 2015."

Murray’s visitation at Faith Discovery Church in Warren is scheduled for noon to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by a funeral at the church Thursday at 11 a.m.

Nearly $60,000 has been raised through a GoFundMe page for Murray's family. The Warren Hills Regional High School quarterback died shortly after a game Friday night due to a lacerated spleen.
