The wake for Daniel Fernandez was scheduled Monday afternoon and evening in Rego Park.

He was about to enter his junior year at St. Francis Prep.

Fernandez struck a highway overpass Monday in Fort Lee, N.J. after poking his head through a roof hatch on the double-decker bus.

He was among 65 teens headed to a sweet 16 party.

A security guard was on board at the time. He said he had just gone to the lower level of the bus as it approached the overpass.
