A young British girl got revenge on a boy who had bullied her years earlier by writing him a note and leaving it for him when they were supposed to meet. But was it the right decision?

Many media outlets are cheering for Louisa Manning, a girl whose note to a bully has gone viral. Manning was bullied when she was younger, being called a 'manbeast,' called fat and was told that she had 'hairy, disgusting legs.'

Manning, now 22, enrolled in Oxford University where she wound up meeting up with one of the people who teased her years ago.

Manning met up with one of her former bullies at an event, where she was asked out on a date by him, not realizing who she was. Manning said yes and decided that this would be the perfect place to get revenge.

Instead of meeting up with the man, Louisa Manning showed up early and left a note with a picture of herself form the age of 12 with the waitress.

"Remember how every day for three years you and your friends called me “Manbeast”? No, perhaps you don’t or you wouldn’t have seen how I look eight years after and deemed me f******* enough to treat me like a human being. I thought I’d send you this as a reminder. Next time you think of me, picture that girl in this photo because that’s the one who stood you up. Louisa."

After posting the note and photo to Facebook, Louisa Manning was surprised when she received this apology:

Hey… For what it’s worth, I was actually here to meet up looking for a chance to meet up looking to make friends, not because you are very good looking. I guess I had it coming though, and certainly don’t blame you for standing me up.

I can’t change who I was 8 years ago, and I won’t insult your intelligence by pretending that it didn’t happen, but I hope you believe me when I say I’m a completely different person now. I can only apologise and wish you the very best. I guess I won’t hear from you again but I mean it when I say that I hope you have every success you deserve.”

What do you think? Do you think the bully had it coming to him or do you think Louisa Manning went too far to get revenge?
