It's time to bring back an old feature I had on my show entitled "The Jersey Jerk of the Week." That's where I give you three choices, and you act as the "Jersey Jury" and vote for the winner. Here are the choices and feel free to write in your own nomination as well.

Governor Christie Doesn't Make the Cut

Those who decided Governor Christie should be relegated to the "kid's table" at next Thursday's GOP debate. It's going to be much less interesting to watch. Although I would love it if at the end Jeff Probst came out with "tribal council" and voted someone off. It would be better than hearing Donand Trump say "You're Fired." Then again, sometime in the not-too-distant-future, Trump may be saying that about himself.

Ocean City Police Officer Caught in Sex Act

Retired Ocean City Police officer Charles Cusack pleaded guilty to having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl who worked for him. First off you don't do that with someone you work with, especially with someone who works for you Secondly, you don't do it with a 17-year-old girl if you're 52. What could possibly go wrong? How about a plea deal that will land him on the state’s sex offender registry and will bar him from holding public office?

Somerset Pastor Fakes Assault

Police on Friday responded to a 911 call from an individual saying someone had been assaulted and tied up, and found Pena with his hands loosely tied with a rope behind his back, authorities have said. His legs were tied and a piece of cloth stuffed into his mouth with a plastic bag over his head, along with a piece of paper taped to his chest and back with a misspelled Islamic phrase, authorities said.

After Pena was transported to a local hospital for medical attention, authorities learned that Pena didn’t have any visible injuries, which would normally be present in the event of being assaulted and bound, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office has said. Upon further investigation, police determined that the pastor had fabricated the event “by staging a crime scene due to some personal events in his life.”

He was charged with third-degree false public alarm, fourth-degree false swearing and making a fictitious report to law enforcement, a disorderly persons offense.

Now it is time for you to vote for who you think is the "Jersey Jerk of the Week." Cast your votes below!
