There are two types of people - those who rush to the supermarket for bread and milk upon hearing a snowstorm in the weather forecast, and those who have already had their pantry filled to the brim in case of an emergency.

Callers of the Dennis and Judi show who braved the supermarkets this morning explained the hysteria they experienced. Many of the stores were packed and filled with shoppers rushing to buy bread and milk at the last second. One caller keeps a less conventional emergency supply - instead of buying bread and milk, he shared that he stocks up on alcohol for snowy weather (we don't necessarily advise doing that).

Other callers expressed that they could easily survive this snowstorm on the food they have at home. One woman told us that the food in her pantry could easily last her a week.

How do you handle the possibility of a snowstorm?
