There's been a lot of furor over the PARCC testing that your kids will be taking this spring. Many are opposed to the testing that will involved kids in grades 3 -11.

The assessment reportedly measures skills such as critical thinking and problem solving. But are standardized the tests such as the PARCC, the correct way to judge a student? Do kids in 3rd, 4th or 5th grade really know if they want to go to college or what their career path will be?
