Vineland Man Sentenced in Infant Son’s Death
A southern New Jersey father convicted of fatally injuring his infant son in 2011 has been sentenced to more than a decade in prison.
The Cumberland County prosecutor's office says 20-year-old Ronald Cuff Jr. of Vineland was sentenced Friday to 14 years in state prison.
Cuff was convicted of reckless manslaughter and child endangerment in the death of his 2-month-old son.
Prosecutors say Cuff caused the child's death by repeatedly shaking the child while caring for him.
The child died a week after his maternal grandmother had taken him to a hospital.
