Hundreds of friends and family gathered at Old Bridge High School in Matawan Friday night to remember the two victims of Friday's supermarket shooting.Cristina LoBrutto, 18, and Bryan Breen, 24 were gunned down as they stocked shelves in the early morning hours at the Pathmark supermarket in Old Bridge by Terence Tyler, an ex-Marine who had worked the same shift for only a few weeks.

Candles were lit around makeshift posters and remembrances as mourners hugged and remembered their fallen friends.

"As parents, we are concerned about what is happening in this country,"  a woman whose has attended school with LoBrutto since middle school and graduated with her in June told the Star Ledger. "Too often now when people get angry, they take it out" on people in a violent way. We raised our kids the right way."

LoBrutto graduated this past June from OBHS and was set to attend Brookdale Community College this semester. She was remembered by friends for her smile. ""You couldn't be around her and not smile," Sophie Nieto-Munoz told WNBC TV.

Breen was remembered for his outgoing personality and warm nature towards employees young and old. Lucy Sullican told the Star Ledger Breen always greeted her with "a great big bear hug. He had a special relationship with everyone." He was a 2006 graduate of OBHS.
