A summer-like weekend, no question about it.

There were some 84 degree high temperatures on Saturday and as warm as 83 at Newark Liberty Airport yesterday.

It was in the upper 70s to near 80 for most of Sunday's high temperatures.

Of course, we had the shower and thunderstorm threat scattered around for later Saturday afternoon and early Saturday evening.  That was gone by Mother's Day.

Today, we will have some sunshine, but also some arriving clouds.  We have the risk of a brief, afternoon shower, at some point.  That may not be until the middle or late afternoon or even, this evening.

The first part of the night may be rain-free, but there may be another chance of showers late tonight.

High temperatures today, by the way, will be in the low and middle 80s.  We will probably be in the mild 60s tonight.

Tuesday offers the likelihood of some cooler conditions because of the wind off the ocean.  Some of the guidance wants to have it in the low to mid 70s inland tomorrow, but I don't think it's going to be that warm.

It still looks unsettled and probably wet, to some extent, for Wednesday of this week.
