More than $4 million will support technology and infrastructure enhancements at dozens of schools hit harshly by the October storm.

"By expanding the internet bandwidth capacity and hardware in schools that were impacted by Sandy, we're also improving kids' education experience for years to come," the ambassador said.

He was joined at Highlands Elementary School by Governor Chris Christie and first lady Mary Pat, who founded the charity.

"This donation is going to help so many schools and so many kids who are still on the long road of recovery from this storm," said Governor Christie.
