Workers at Trump Plaza and the Taj Mahal have approved new three-year contracts with the Atlantic City casinos.

Local 54 of the Unite-HERE union says workers overwhelmingly approved the new contract in a ratification vote Friday.

The union now has contracts in place with seven of Atlantic City's 11 casinos. Bargaining is either ongoing or about to start soon with the others.

Like a deal reached last month with four other casinos -- Harrah's, Bally's, Caesars and the Showboat -- the Trump contract does not cut employees' pay or force them to contribute toward the cost of their health insurance or pension. The casinos had sought those concessions in talks since the summer.
