Every Friday I've made it my mission to highlight NJ police officers that have gone above and beyond the call of duty to make a difference. It's known as #BlueFriday. This week, we are highlighting two officers from South Brunswick who saved a man in distress.

South Brunswick Officers Salvatore Sama and Brian Luck, revived Jim Mauro who had collapsed at work. Officer Sama was the first to arrive and provided quick medical help to Mauro, using a defibrillator. Luck arrived short thereafter and assisted Sama with CPR. They're training skills proved to be invaluable as Mauro was revived. and is now stable.

On behalf of all of us, we want to thank Officers Sama and Luck for their efforts in saving a life. While it may seem routine or just part of the job, there i snothing routine about saving a life and these two officers need to be commended for their heroism. Thank you for all you do.
