Two Shoplifting Arrests Made After Freehold Mall Incident

Two sisters were arrested after allegedly using a 2 year old's stroller to hide the merchandise they shoplifted. According to the Asbury Park Press, the two were approached by a store employee at the Freehold Raceway Mall who saw them shoplifting, but the duo ran out into the parking lot, throwing the stolen goods, and the two year old, into the back of a car. Then "the woman who was driving twice rammed a mall security vehicle with two officers in it, and nearly ran over another mall security officer in the parking lot before driving away."

Remember that the next time you're tempted to make fun of the security force at a mall. They got away but were picked up in Eatontown on unrelated charges and are in the Monmouth County Jail.
