A pedestrian was struck and killed on Route 73 on Saturday night, while another was injured on Route 38 early Sunday morning.

The first incident happened on Route 38 in Cherry Hill at Chapel Avenue just before 10 p.m., leaving a person seriously injured on Saturday night, according to Cherry Hill Police. The pedestrian was taken to Cooper University Medical Center. The driver of the Toyota that hit the pedestrian was not injured and is cooperating with police.

The identities of the driver and pedestrian were not disclosed.

Cherry Hill Police asked any witnesses to the crash to call 856-432-8814.

Police told ABC 6 Action News a pedestrian struck on Route 73 in Maple Shade died at the scene early Sunday morning. The vehicle involved remained at the scene, according to the report.

The station's video from the incident showed it happened in front of Lowe's in the northbound lanes.

Mount Laurel Police have not yet returned a message.
