Police say the two brothers were found nearly 19 hours after they were reported missing from the northern New Jersey home of one of their fathers.

Officials say 5-year-old Gabriel Hyman and 9-year-old Harry Hyman apparently walked about a mile and a half from Harry's father's home to the Irvington home of Gabriel's father Wednesday.

Police say he wasn't there so a neighbor took the children in and she called police Thursday after learning they were missing.

The children have different fathers, who are brothers.

Authorities are questioning the men and the mother, who claimed she had an arrangement with Harry's father to leave the children at his home alone.

Police say the boys appear fine.
