The Record of Woodland Park reports a judge Monday found Capt. Danilo Garcia and Detective Thomas Aletta not guilty on all charges, including official misconduct and conspiracy.

Two suspects in the robbery at the center of the case were sons of the police chief's girlfriend and were living with the chief at the time.

Zisa had also been accused of interfering with the robbery investigation but was eventually exonerated.

However the former chief was convicted of charges he improperly removed his then-girlfriend from the scene of an accident in 2008 and filed a fraudulent insurance claim. He is appealing the conviction.
