Turnpike Reopens After Jackknifed Tractor Trailer
A jackknifed tractor trailer involving two other trucks and an overturned car has been cleared off the northbound New Jersey Turnpike.
The incident took place just before the morning commute around 5:30 a.m. in the Turnpike construction zone north of exit #8 (Hightstown) and was reopened around 7:15 a.m.
There was one minor injury according to 7 ABC.
Rubbernecking delays remain southbound and northbound delays begin at #7A (I-195) according to New Jersey Fast Traffic's Bob Williams. Williams suggests using Route 130 as an alternate and getting onto the Turnpike at #8A.
