A Transportation Security Administration screener at a New Jersey airport spotted a knife concealed in a carry-on bag.

The TSA says the screener was operating the X-ray machine at a security checkpoint at Newark-Liberty International Airport on Sunday when the screener saw the knife in the zippered pocket where the bag's handle is stored.

The bag belonged to a passenger from New York who was boarding a flight to Atlanta. Port Authority police confiscated the knife.
