Hypocrisy — the act of declaring a moral standard to which one's own behavior does not conform.

Donald Trump has now even gone off on the Pope. That's not the part I care about. He has every right to defend himself against Pope Francis, who said anyone "who thinks only about building walls ... and not building bridges, is not Christian." He was of course referring to Trump and his goal of building a gigantic wall along the U.S./Mexican border to keep out illegals.

Trump angrily came back with, "For a religious leader to question a person's faith is disgraceful. No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man's religion or faith."

I have no problem with Trump defending himself against Pope Francis. I have a problem with the hypocrisy since this is exactly what Trump has done time and time again regarding Barack Obama's Christianity. Question it.

In 2011, talking to Fox News when he was mounting his campaign to get Obama to produce a birth certificate, Trump said, "He doesn't have a birth certificate. He may have one, but there's something on that, maybe religion, maybe it says he is a Muslim. I don't know. Maybe he doesn't want that."

He also took to Twitter to question whether Obama is a Muslim and not a Christian:

So by his own words, is Donald Trump saying he's a disgrace just like Pope Francis?
