Donald Trump always talks about winning, although he's lost a lot. (Bankruptcy protections, many failed business ventures, SAD!) So is it just the sting of being the least popular president at the 100 day mark of any U.S. president since tracking began that had him saying wistful things in an exclusive Reuters interview? You can read the full interview here.

Some of his quotes:

"I loved my previous life, I loved my previous life. I had so many things going."

"I thought it would be easier."

"This is more work than my previous life."

"While I had very little privacy, in my old life because, you know, I've been famous for a long time. I really -- this is much less privacy than I've seen before. This is, you know, something that's really amazing. At the same time, you're really into your own cocoon because there's such massive protection, that you really can't go anywhere."

"I like to drive. I can't drive anymore."

"I do miss my old life. This -- I like to work. But this is actually more work."

Wow. Poor Donald. He thought being president would be easier than being a reality TV star and billionaire? Just as he said of healthcare, who knew it would be so complicated? I mean being constantly surrounded by security, having to deal in a democratic system of checks and balances, with the fate of an entire nation resting on your shoulders, we all would have assumed that would be a cakewalk, right?

Is this foreshadowing of a time when Trump will resign and hand the reins over to Pence? Or will he deny he ever said any of this and decry the FAKE NEWS? Stay tuned.
