Most political experts keep predicting Donald Trump's campaign for president is going to implode.

It doesn't look like that's going to happen this week.

In fact, Trump's lead over the rest of the GOP field continues to widen.

A new Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics Iowa Poll has Trump with 23 percent support among likely voters. His favorability rating is also a staggering 61 percent.

Contrast that with Gov. Chris Christie. Fifty-nine percent of likely caucus voters have an unfavorable opinion of Christie. And he's only polling at 2 percent, down from just 4 percent just a short time ago.
