The truck flipped onto its side at the merge of the southbound New Jersey Turnpike and Route 295 before the exit for Route 130, according to State Police spokesman Lawrence Peele. It was carrying a load of building materials which did not spill.

Two lanes were blocked on the part of the Turnpike where it becomes Route 295, causing multi-mile delays approaching that area.

All lanes were reopened by 3 p.m.

Peele said the truck was the only vehicle involved and the driver was not injured.

Drivers are exiting the Turnpike after paying their toll at Hawks Bridge Road. Drivers can take that to Route 130 south and rejoin Route 295 to cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge
