NEW BRUNSWICK (AP) — A trial is set to start next year for a Florida woman charged in the death of her son Timothy Wiltsey more than two decades ago in Sayreville.

MyCentralJersey.com repoirts a trial date was scheduled Wednesday for Jan. 12. The trial was originally scheduled to start Oct. 27.

Michelle Lodzinski was living in Florida last year when authorities arrested her in the 1991 killing of 5-year-old Timothy Wiltsey. She was long considered a possible suspect in her son's disappearance and death.

She's pleaded not guilty and remains jailed on $2 million bail.

Superior Court Judge Dennis Nieves will hear arguments from Lodzinski's attorney on a motion to dismiss the indictment next month.
