Mack entered his plea Wednesday at an arraignment in federal court. Trial is set to start in February, though there will be requests to pushed it back.

Mack's brother and another man also charged in the case also pleaded not guilty.

Authorities say the mayor was involved in a scheme to accept $119,000 in bribes to push the development of a parking garage on city-owned land.

Mack has stayed on as mayor despite calls from the Trenton City Council and Gov. Chris Christie for him to resign. Mack's lawyer, Mark Davis, said Wednesday that the mayor does not intend to resign.
