Tormu Prall also received a separate 20-year prison term when he was sentenced Wednesday. That term will run consecutive to his life sentence.

Prall was found guilty of murder, attempted murder and aggravated arson by a Mercer County jury in February.

Prosecutors said Prall sprayed a flammable liquid in the home while his brother and the woman slept. He then ignited the liquid and fled the home.

Friends say the brothers had repeatedly argued over household expenses in the weeks leading up to the 2007 fire. They said Prall's brother told him he couldn't stay if he didn't help pay the bills.
