Technology is great. Sometimes nature is still greater. There was a happy ending in a case of a missing man thought to be suicidal in Frenchtown. While police busted out the technology and were convinced they had his location through his cell phone GPS, the fire chief busted out Brandy and Timmy, two search and rescue German shepherds. Turns out both dogs picked up on the man's scent leading in the opposite direction from where the GPS technology was pointing.

They were right.

Score one for nature. They found the man "laying down in the weeds." He jumped up and after a short pursuit and the police getting there quickly, all was well.
