Be prepared to fork over a lot more Hamiltons to see the Broadway smash "Hamilton." Producers have pushed the top premium seats up to a record $849.

The previous high for premium ticket prices was $477 for the best seats at "The Book of Mormon." "Hamilton" will easily shatter than mark, an attempt to cut scalpers out of the resale business.

According to the plan, a total of 200 seats will sell for $849 at the box office, while 1,075 will be listed between $179 and $199 -- up from the current $139-$177 range.

But there's also hope for those with a lighter wallet: The lottery that has been offering 21 last-minute seats for $10 will now allow 46 people into the show for just a Hamilton.
