Motorists must pay tolls on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Toll collection resumed at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. It was suspended at 5 p.m. Monday because winds from Sandy made it too dangerous for toll collectors.

Turnpike Authority spokesman Tom Feeney says a ramp at Exit 15W is closed for repairs to a washout caused by flooding. Drivers southbound on the eastern spur will not be able to exit onto Route 278 until the ramp reopens.

Toll collection resumed on the Garden State Parkway on Tuesday.
