Trenton Police Lt. Stephen Varn tells NJ.com the child fell asleep with her family on Sunday night. Relatives woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't find the girl.

Varn says a neighbor found her on the sidewalk around 1 a.m. Monday.

She was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center before being transported to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

It's unclear how high the window was.

The toddler is suffering from a skull fracture and bleeding on the brain.
